The body is a graphic language, physically and strictly codified. Only the one who is attached to a culture of details can perceive the message between the movements. My painting is in harmony, in a modest manner and some means are presented to decode this powerful coloured writing with its harmonious shapes, in a spirit of love and exchanges, all these framed in a face-asset and semi-representational style.
It is a mixed technique using acrylic and oil painting on canvas: incorporation of materials and natural paintings. It is a semi-representational art.
My semi-representational style is composed of a technique of relief stake characterized by a mixture of materials. My characters with no face are then given a certain expression.
I was born in the Ivory Coast and painting has become my daily life. I had been teaching art for more than twelve years.
He is often represented in my work because up to the century he had been exploited and badly treated in some parts of the world.
This vulnerable little human being must receive from us, all our care and love to grow happily and healthily.
Grandmother, mother, sister, wife, daughter in turns, she embodies all these positions and is (according to me) the essence of life.
She deserves more respect, more love and more deference whatever is her race, her religion and her ethnic group. Women in my painting are graceful, they can be filiform but most of the time they are buxom with attractive assets. The general effect of the picture is gay, with predominating warm tints such as ochre, brown, yellow and red.
Painting is a visual and communicative support which is not accessible to everybody. The blind people and the partially-sighted ones are put aside. Thanks to my painting, they can "see" through the touch. The natural products are abundant. They are composed of a wide choice of pigments. Besides, by using them, we contribute to the protection of this beautiful nature.
The characters with no face take into account a certain reality : the creation of a similar and only world with no prejudice and few physical differences.
